Try to find the answers to these questions and write them in your notebook:

1. When did we start celebrating this day?
2. How many member states are there  in the Council of Europe?
3. Why is this day celebrated?
4. How many languages are there in the world?
5. How many indigenous languages are spoken in Europe?
6. Which are the three broad groups or families most European languages belong to? Name at least three languages from each family.
7. Which European country has the highest number of languages spoken on its territory? How many are they?

- Now, work in pairs and create a multicultural poster with everyday expressions in different languages. Try to be creative !!!!!!
